Design Notes:

I designed this SL33 as a special welcome gift for Patrick Ewing upon his return to the brand in a full-time capacity as president. I drew inspiration from Air Force One for its mythical status and as a playful nod to his new presidential role. I obsessed over every single detail of this sneaker—conducting extensive research to ensure the pantones were a close match, selecting the finest buttery suede, and choosing fonts that I felt were presidential enough. I also created a custom Ewing presidential seal logo, using the official U.S. presidential seal as a template.
