Design Notes:

The concept of the shoe is Kool G.I. Rap—a sneaker inspired by G.I. Joe and a clever play on Kool G Rap’s name. The sneakers were released alongside a KGR action figure modeled after classic G.I. Joe toys. I designed this shoe to reflect the Curtiss P-40 Warhawk, featuring an olive upper with a custom shark teeth graphic and the U.S. Air Force National Star insignia on the lateral side. The medial side highlights a yellow military stencil graphic with Kool G Rap’s album title and release date. I also contributed to recreating his iconic logo, which appears prominently on the tongue.
