Design Notes:

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of both Ace Ventura: Pet Detective and the Ewing Rogue, I thought it would be a cool idea to team up with Morgan Creek and Mache to revisit one of the wackiest and most popular collaborations we’ve ever done. Drawing inspiration from the movie’s plot, I created a fresh color story using pantones that reference the Miami Dolphins jerseys featured in the film. I also repurposed the Hawaiian print graphic from our first collaboration, incorporating it into the paneling of the Rogue. Since the sneaker is already bold, we kept the branding clean with the Ace Ventura logo on the tongue and the Mache logo on the strap.
