Design Notes:

When I pitched this idea to the team, they thought it would be impossible to pull off since Juan Luis Guerra is not known for doing product collaborations. The design takes inspiration from the outfit he wore on the Bachata Rosa album cover, with the sneaker panels and lining featuring a floral print we carefully recreated to match the original. Other details include the Bachata Rosa logo on the heel and Guerra's signature on the lateral side. This collaboration went on to make headlines across Latin America and was even worn by Juan Luis Guerra himself during his live performance at the 2024 Latin Grammys.
