Design Notes:

Cope2 and I come from the same neighborhood, so we felt it was only right to tell the story of the Bronx, NY, through a unique color story. The theme of the sneakers is "Concrete Jungle," featuring an all-grey upper with green contrast stitching to represent the 4 train line that runs through our neighborhood. The green accents also serve as a nod to jungle, while the speckled outsole is inspired by graffiti drips. The sneakers also showcase bubble letters with "Ewing" on one shoe and "Cope" on the other, with graffiti placement on the lateral side intentionally designed to mimic the look of a throw-up on a concrete wall. For the layout, I also drew additional inspiration from Virgil Abloh’s Louis Vuitton x AF1 collaboration, I wanted to make sure the design felt deliberate and authentically executed.
