Design Notes:

This design draws inspiration from the outfit Kool G Rap wore on the back cover of his debut album. I wanted to design a sneaker that referenced the boots he wore and chose the Rogue as it features a strap similar to the ones on his boot. I wanted the sneakers to feel lux so I worked with a supple brown leather. Inside, the sockliner features a custom checkerboard pattern similar to the ones on his jacket, The sneaker features a gold dubrae, reminiscent of the three-finger ring he famously wore. I wanted these to be super wearable so the only graphic featured is his logo on the tongue.
